During the opening session of the 2013 Annual Conference on August 19, 2013, the Tulsa Chapter of the IMA recognized John Thomas for his many years of service to the organization.

John joined the IMA in 1978 and has served on the board for 23 years in various positions including President from 2009—2010 and DJ for the 50 year chapter anniversary.

For the past five years, John has been a dedicated member of the Annual Conference Committee helping slate speakers, making arrangements for the accommodations, and organizing technology requirements. 

John is an Emeritus Life member of the IMA
